Kevin Kelly‘s time with New Japan Pro-Wrestling has come to an end.

NJPW announced that Kelly has departed the company to pursue outside opportunities. The announcement noted that Kelly had planned to attend NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 on January 4, but he will be unable to do so due to family commitments. NJPW expressed their gratitude for Kelly’s countless memorable calls over the years.

Kelly had been the English voice of NJPW broadcasts since 2015. In September, he noted that he would be leaving NJPW soon because his wife of 32 years said she did not want to be alone anymore.

He has worked with AEW since June as a member of the AEW Collision broadcast team, and he was recently added to AEW’s official roster page on their website.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
